About Us
History
Translexis Limited was founded in 1986 by Niki Watts, already an established Greek translator, to offer high quality Greek language services.
She was later joined by Quentin, who with a background in chemistry and lengthy experience in the pharmaceutical industry, helped strengthen the company’ resources in technical translation from Greek into English.
We are based in St Ives, a picturesque market town some 12 miles to the northwest of the university city of Cambridge.
Translation Services
Translation from Greek into English and from English into Greek lies at the heart of our business. Much of our work involves technical and legal material and we have a special interest in medical and pharmaceutical translation. A full list of our specialist subject areas can be found here.

Our clients range from private individuals to the largest multinational companies and we are privileged to have worked for many household names in the manufacturing, healthcare and services sector. We also work for several public sector organisations as well as acting as subcontractors to a number of general and specialist translation companies.
